The plan envisages several buildings and a underground car park with a gross floor area of around 7,500 m² on the 7,768 m² site. Benchmark. and INTERBODEN are focusing on a broad mix of flats with units ranging from around 52 m² to around 106 m² of living area. Children's play areas and bicycle storage facilities are part of the landscaped outdoor areas. In consultation with the local authorities, the joint venture will examine whether it is possible to make better use of the site to create more living space. The project should be completed by the end of 2024.
The site is located in a residential area and connected to public transport via the city train station Adlershof. The nearby autobahn A113 provides access to long-distance traffic. The new capital airport Berlin-Brandenburg Airport can be reached by car in around 15 minutes. Extensive woodlands and two lidos are located within a radius of a few kilometres around the site.
Martin Hantel, managing partner of benchmark. REAL Estate, says: "The district of Treptow-Köpenick is enjoying great and growing popularity as a residential location. People appreciate the proximity to the large recreational areas and the comparatively moderate property prices. We are proud to create new condominiums in Berlin."
Alexander Schmitz, member of the management board at INTERBODEN, says: "The location between the Adlershof Technology Park, the new Capital Airport and the emerging Gigafactory will soon attract many skilled workers to Treptow-Köpenick. We are looking forward to contribute to this positive development with high-quality residential units."
